Recommended fabrics: Jersey fabric, microfiber, stretchable mesh spandex, lace, supplex (if for a swimsuit) or any stretchable fabric you have at home.
According to this pattern, you can even sew a swimsuit.
As with any pattern I recommend sewing a test garment (toile) in a similar fabric before sewing in your BEST fabric to check size and fit.

Love this thong! Its very versatile - you can use the front pieces as directed, or cut out two scallop lace fronts or two solid fronts. The instructional video is very clear and I love how she also includes stitch settings. My waist is 33" and my hips are 43.5", which landed me between the 2XL and 3XL. I went with the 2XL, and the fit is very sexy! This thong is a low rise/high leg.
