very easy to sew and a beautiful halter
I was surprised at how quickly this bralette sews up! I think I may need to reduce the length a little for my next one to fix a little gaping on the front/inside of the cups or just use a more supportive stretch lace. But overall I am pretty pleased with the fit. I love this halter design with the front closures and adjustable back! I also learned how to use the rolled hem on my serger thanks to this pattern. :)
I admired this pattern for MONTHS and am so happy I finally got to make it! The fit is so sexy, and I feel so supported! I love these style of bralettes but have always had issues with my boobs falling out the front - not anymore! I'm not sure what kind of magic this pattern possesses but the girls stay firmly in their seats. My full bust is 41.5", and my under bust is 33.5". I went with a size XL. *Perfect fit, no alterations*. The instructional video is very good - and I learned a new technique: Using the rolled hem setting on my serger to make the seam allowances disappear behind the lace. Great project for beginners and advanced alike!
